My father Clem started this business in the mid sixties. Selling American Standard equipment in 1971 in the Pittsburgh area. He worked in the new construction market as well as the add on replacement market. I started with him young not wanting to do what he did but enjoyed spending time with him hanging on to his boot strings every step of the way. Along the way I took carpentry classes and started a career in the construction and remodeling business still helping out on the weekends in the HVAC field. In the early eighties the home building market stalled and again I started to help dad full time. As the heating industry grew and became more technical I wanted to know everything there was to know about the new stuff. I took classes in the heating and air conditioning field and passed in 1982. I also took a course in electronics to diagnose circuit boards. Along the way I was trained by some of the best in the business Trane, Carrier, Lennox, Bryant,Weil Mclain Burnham and of course Goodman, formerly Janitrol. ( I know what your thinking but Janitrol has gotten a bad wrap due to poor quality workmanship and plain bad installs.) I also hold a universal refrigeration license and I am NATE contractor certified. Goodman purchased the Janitrol brand in the early 80s totally reconfiguring the brand and company outlook. The reason I chose the Goodman brand is the inherent value for your money spent not to mention quality. Again don't be fooled buy ignorance and bad installs buy the amatures in the field. I believe Goodman to be some of the best equipment out there as noted by some of the best warranties in the business and their number two market share behind United technologies/Carrier. I want to take the time to thank you for your time and interest in the Pellegrino family name. Please give us a try and you will be glad you did.
Sincerely,
David Pellegrino
